Eleni Nine and her family have been residents in Columbia's Lake Carolina for almost 4 years. Her business as a residential interior designer has grown steadily since their arrival in the summer of 2000. She attributes much of this growth to wonderful clients who thankfully continue to share their “secret find” in a helpful designer.

Eleni is an honors graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. She has lived in Columbia for almost 5 years since moving from Greenville, SC. Daughter Sophia is now 9 years old and is a third grader at Lake Carolina Elementary. Her 7-year old son Andrew is a first grader at Lake Carolina Elementary.

For the Nine family, Lake Carolina is a wonderful environment to expand the business into a retail shop. With young children still the focus in Eleni's life, a retail store did not seem to be an option for at least another 10 years. However, a 3 story townhouse with a store they could live over made it a possibility. “I wanted a residential feel for the business both for our family and for our clients. The Village Green was the perfect solution.” This fall after a lot of hard work and a lot of wonderful support from clients, family and friends we hope to open a fabulous new asset to the Lake Carolina Community.
